This summer, our fundraising team has enjoyed attending two wonderful events in our community – Marham Friends Fun Day and RAF Marham Families Day.
Both events were a great success, and it was lovely to be part of them. We enjoyed meeting so many people and chatting about our charity while raising funds through our tombolas. A huge thank you to the organisers, everyone who stopped by our stall and bought a ticket or two, and our wonderful volunteers. If you have a community fete or event planned for next year, get in touch – we'd love to be part of! Congratulations to all of our recent Bonus Ball Lottery winners:

Your support helps us continue providing compassionate support to local people and their families affected by cancer and bereavement. We're about to start our next 10-week round and have a few numbers available. If you'd like to join and be in with a chance of winning, simply give us a call on 01760 722937. A huge thank you to everyone who came along to our No7 Skincare and Makeup events in February and June. Together, these two enjoyable evenings raised an amazing £851.00 for Swaffham & Litcham Home Hospice Support! We're so grateful to the wonderful No7 team from Boots King's Lynn for giving their time, sharing their expertise and bringing so much enthusiasm to make these events such a success. And a special thank you to our two lovely models, who looked absolutely fabulous! Today, Jo, one of our Patient Coordinators, had the pleasure of visiting the Warm Space group at The Barn in Swaffham, run by Fountain of Life Church.
It was a wonderful opportunity to meet members of the local community, share information about our charity and the support services we provide, and chat with people whose lives have been touched by cancer in one way or another. Whether it was answering questions, offering guidance, or simply having a friendly conversation, it was a valuable and rewarding morning. Building connections within our community is so important to us, and we are always keen to reach more people who may benefit from our support. If you know of any local groups, organisations, or community spaces that would welcome a visit from our team, we’d love to hear from you. A huge thank you to Rosie and all the staff and volunteers at Warm Space for their warm welcome and hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and look forward to returning in the future. Together, we can help ensure that no one faces cancer alone. Thank You!
A huge thank you to Waitrose Swaffham and everyone who popped a green token into our box. We are delighted to have received an amazing £1,500 through the Waitrose Community Matters Scheme to help fund improvements that will benefit the people who use our services. We are incredibly grateful to the store, its customers and the Community Matters team for choosing to support us. It is wonderful to see our community come together in this way and help us continue making a difference. If you are part of a local charity or community group and would like to be considered for the scheme, Steph Shaw would be pleased to hear from you. Community Really Does Matter |
